MyTrybe

MyTrybe is a new social networking site with a bit of a twist.

One of the reasons computing - and specifically telecommunications - drew me was because it offered the possibility of meeting people like me. I mean, so long as I am being honest, there are a lot of people who like comic books, a lot of gamers, a lot of people who like B-rater horror flicks, but add all my other eccentricities to all of this and... well, I completely understand that I can be a bit of a handful. Of course, I like me and I like people like me - it is just a matter of finding them!

MyTrybe runs you through a "Taste Test," which they use to determine exactly what makes you tick. When you install the widget, it helps fine-tune your "matches." Instead of meeting people who like comic books - but could not care less about role-playing games and love to spend their Sundays watching football - or people who like role-playing games - and constantly argue the trivia of Star Trek and find jokes like "Someone failed their Charisma roll!" the height of hilarity - MyTrybe helps you find people just like you... well, close enough that you are guaranteed to enjoy their company!
