The History of Fruity Yummy Mummy Cereal

I don't know if it's even still listed anywhere, but Rated B used to mention pop-culture as "Americana" because that's the only pop-culture with which I am familiar, so it's largely the only one we covered.  To those ends, we have covered the history of such things as the first black Barbie doll, the history of the banjo, the Bolivian Coca-Colla lawsuit, even Corbin Bernsen's attempt to save the All-American Soapbox Derby.  Over the years, we have largely moved away from such research-intensive posts to focus on comic books, and now music.

However, I love doing those kinds of posts and wish I had time to do more of them.  That's why I love finding posts similar on blogs and sites I follow.  This one comes from Bloody Disgusting, a horror blog which contains a bit of everything from the genre, and gives a great rundown on the history of the Fruity Yummy Mummy cereal - part of the Boo Berry, Count Chocula, and Frankenberry cereal line from General Mills.

Enjoy, and be sure to subscribe to Bloody Disgusting if you like horror!
