According to director, Wes Anderson, actor Owen Wilson is doing well.
Speaking at the Venice Film Festival, where his new film (starring Owen Wilson), The Darjeeling Limited, is nominated for the grand prize, the director of such classics as The Royal Tennenbaums and Rushmore asked the press and other media (that's us, y'all!) to respect Wilson's privacy. He said that Wilson will speak for himself in time, better than anyone ever could.
While nothing is 100% solid, it is basically confirmed that the 38-year old actor attempted suicide about a week ago. Reports indicate that the episode was fueled by various drugs, but nothing (including the attempted suicide, itself) has been confirmed.
