Memorial Duh Weekend

Well no wonder things have been so slow the past couple days: this is Memorial Day Weekend!

I had no idea, I really didn't. I also didn't know that Memorial Day's history stretches all the way back to the Civil War. It was officially named a holiday in 1971, even though it had been being celebrated regularly throughout the country for nearly 100 years.

Of course, Memorial Day is the day when we recognize our fallen soldiers. It was once called Decoration Day, as it was common practice to bring flowers to soldiers' graves. Nowadays, people mostly just grill-out. Honestly, I didn't even know much about Memorial Day until someone told me it was this weekend and I decided to look it up. I knew it was to memorialize fallen veterans, but that's about it.

I guess the neighbors are going to cook-out tomorrow and I'll go hang-out over there, but I am going to be posting throughout the rest of tonight and tomorrow. Since my days and nights got switched around, I have no idea what the schedule is going to be. I know I'm going to crank-out these PRs I want to get to you and then I have an advance review (Image Comics' StudioSpace) and then there are a few other things I wanted to discuss.

So everything seems to be on schedule, I just didn't realize it was a holiday.
