By the time you read this, Iron Man will have gone beyond being just the biggest movie of the summer - it will be the biggest movie of 2008.
Iron Man had taken in over $299 million by Tuesday, June 18th. With an estimated $286,000 intake a day, even if ticket sales slip a little, Iron Man is sure to pass the $300 million mark this week; no other film in 2008 has done that yet.
A sequel has already been announced, though director, Jon Favreau, has voiced concerns over the 2010 release date.
