He will portray a wheelchair-bound character on the sometimes controversial FX show, Rescue Me. A friend of star, Denis Leary's, Michael J. Fox will appear in a four-episode story arc. The air-dates for the shows have not been announced.
Fox rocketed to stardom in the 1980s with starring turns in the NBC sit-com, Family Ties, and subsequent film work. In 1998, Fox revealed he suffers from Parkinson's Disease.
