28 Days Later was, far and away, the best zombie movie since Night of the Living Dead and even though folks like me had always been into zombie flicks, it really brought the genre back in a big way. It was such a big hit in fact, that a sequel is on the way. Entitled 28 Weeks Later, the new movie is set to be released May 11, 2007.
But in the meantime, there's a nifty new graphic novel coming our way from Fox Atomic Comics which includes both prequel and aftermath stories based on the original movie. 28 Days Later: The Aftermath will be penned by one Steve Niles, which some fans may recognize as the writer of our favorite currently-published zombie comic, 30 Days of Night!
Seeing as how pretty much every comics company out there (and there seems to be at least one new imprint coming out every week nowadays) is jumping aboard the zombie ship this summer and most comics carry a cover price of $3.00+, discerning shoppers should save their money for this promising tome o horror.
