So, the highly-tauted Bionic Woman premiered tonight and I will review it, but I want to catch the repeat Friday night on Sci-Fi before I do because... well, first impressions aren't everything with something like this and even though it wasn't bad, I honestly expected a little more. But I am going to catch the rerun Friday night before I make any final say.
I also caught the premiere of Dirty, Sexy Money and that, I can safely say on one viewing, was really good! The characters were sharply-defined but not quite stereotyped, the dialogue and story was crisp, and the cast was pretty great. It relies heavily on music to achieve its effects and that works really well with the source material, giving the entire thing that dreamlike quality most of us associate with "The High Life," while keeping it grounded in the familiar with a lot of classic rock tunes we all know. A really good show that plays well on TV.
Then I caught the season premiere of Ghost Hunters and even though I cover all that over to The OddBlog, I just wanted to mention that the new girl is a hottie. That's all. And Steve is all over it. That's all. That's all I'm gonna say about that. So, hottie; Steve; all over it. I'm done.
