X-Men Messiah CompleX One-Shot Sells Out! New Printing on the Way!

Now, I did get in on this one. When I see one-shots of stuff like this, I generally pick them up and I did order this one a while back, as I recall. I had actually thought this one-shot was the main event and then the rest of the story was to play out throughout the titles, but with all these PRs coming our way, I've lost track of exactly what is going on now! I'm sure there's a checklist on the Marvel site somewhere and in the books themselves. This is one of them there official Marvel press releases:

Marvel is pleased to announce that the hotly-anticipated X-Men: Messiah CompleX One-Shot has sold out at Diamond (though copies may be available at the retail level). Kicking off the first major X-Men event in ten years, this exciting first chapter features the X-Men's search for the first new mutant since M-Day drastically reduced the mutant population. Drawing rave reviews from all corners, Messiah CompleX sets the X-Men on a bold new path… and will redefine them forever! To meet demand for this red-hot one-shot, Marvel is going back to press on of X-Men: Messiah CompleX One-Shot, with a new wraparound cover featuring the powerful art of Simone Bianchi.

"I'm only somewhat surprised," says X-Men Group Editor Axel Alonso of the sell-out. "Everyone – Ed, Marc, Frankie D -- brought their A-game to this book, and they've set the bar for everyone else. And things are just heating up."

Just like fans and critics, retailers are raving about Messiah CompleX. "X-Fans haven't been this excited in years," said Mike Malve, owner of Atomic Comics. " Ed Brubaker is injecting a new excitement into the franchise and Marc Silvestri will always be one of the fans' favorite artists. And future chapters look to be just as promising with the likes of Peter David, Kyle & Yost, and Mike Carey paired with great artists. A team like that and a story like this just flies off the racks. Don't be left behind. Pick up your copy today!"
