Anna Nichole Smith's attorney, Howard K. Stern (no relation to the radio shock jock of the same name) ,will stand trial along with two of her doctors, charged with obtaining drugs for the late model, who died of an overdose back in 2007. All three have been charged with felony conspiracy to obtain and one count of administering, prescribing, or dispensing a controlled substance to an addict.
Some of the prescriptions were made out to "Michelle Smith," an alias Anna Nichole was known to use. Prescription drugs found in Smith's room following her death included eight in Howard Stern's name. Two were prescribed to an unknown party by the name of Alex Katz. All 11 were prescribed by Dr. Eroshevich. Dr. Kapoor had prescribed her methadone when she was pregnant with daughter, Dannielynn.
The two doctors involved are Sandeep Kapoor and psychiatrist, Kristine Eroshevich. $20,000 bail has been suggested for all three and no arraignment date has been set.
