Spotty Posting

I rarely miss many days, but due to the holidays and some personal business to which I need to attend, posting for the rest of the year will be spotty.  I have several posts scheduled, and I am working on getting more going, but it was almost 10:00pm when I finally got my Thanksgiving cooked (just to give you some idea)!

I had my menu planned, and did my shopping, but I'm one of those people who gets sidetracked easily, and finds many more things to do than I had planned as I go.  I'm one of those types who plans to pick his comics up off the floor, then finds myself organizing the entire collection five hours later...

I love blogging, despite the fact that the blogs and website actually cost me time and money -- they haven't made me any money in years, and haven't even paid for themselves the last few -- so I'll still be posting irregularly, but I'm going to kick back.

I'm decorating my house this year (I skipped it the last few years), so I definitely have to clean it first, and that's all going to take a while.  Especially since I'm sure several days will be lost to unnecessary activities, such as reorganizing my Halloween decorations before putting them away.  It's just what I do!  I never finish anything because I always get lost in the details then run out of time.

I want to enjoy the holidays, and since most of the people and businesses with which I deal are going to be closed and/or on vacation, this is a great time for me to take some "personal days."  So, I am going to avail myself of this opportunity.  In fact, I'm working on making it a tradition; if everything works out, this will become an annual thing.
