Okay, I finally went ahead and checked IMdB to discover that yes, this is the 40th-Anniversary of Planet of the Apes, which explains why everyone is doing the ape-thing lately. Mad Magazine had an entire monkey issue and Marvel Apes hits shelves in September. The new Cable #6 sports a Marvel Apes monkey variant by none other than Rob Liefeld (to left)!I'll be honest with you: Planet of the Apes is another one of those sci-fi classics I have yet to see. I've seen bits and pieces of it, but I have never actually sat down and watched the entire thing - none of them! I will one of these days - it's one of those movies I would like to see with friends, anyway. Actually, I hope to catch it at a con one of these days - assuming I ever get to go to another one before I die!
