Robert Downey, Jr. recently penned to do both Iron Man 2 and the oft-rumored, now certain, Avengers movie.
According to a press release from Marvel, Downey, Jr. is involved in both movies (along with Jon Favreau) as part of a four-movie deal. Iron Man 2 should hit screens May 7th, 2010 and Avengers will follow in 2011.
According to the release, The Avengers will bring together a version of the team "including Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, the Hulk and more." No director has been announced.
