While Fox has not officially responded to these reports, the show is steadily landing in 3rd or 4th place on Monday nights, but it is up against some stiff competition. As Fox is known for pulling the plug early on surprisingly good shows, perhaps a change of nights is in order. Regardless, Fox does not have any real stand-outs, excepting Fringe (which was just picked up for an entire season), so maybe they will decide to retool the show before canceling it.
They might also think about promoting it. The Sarah Connor Chronicles runs Monday nights, against Heroes and at least 19077535634664 other shows, including Monday Night Football.
