Popular fantasy novelist, Terry Pratchett, says he was "flabbergasted" when he learned he was to be knighted for his contributions to literature. "There are times when phrases such as 'totally astonished' just don't do the job. I am of course delighted and honored and, needless to say, flabbergasted."
Also knighted was Led Zeppelin frontman, Robert Plant.
