On the one hand, a lot has happened; on the other hand, none of it's that big a deal. Still, I thought I'd give you a quick rundown of some events:
- Glenn Beck reports that Girls Gone Wild founder, Joe Francis, is allegedly crying every night in prison. I understand how you could get in over your head, Joe, now show us your boobs.
- De Niro and Pacino will team up for a new movie entitled, Righteous Kill, in which the two play investigators chasing a serial killer.
- Major Victory, Diamond Girl, and others from the Sci-Fi reality show, Who Wants to be a Superhero? will be appearing at the Motor City Comic Con.
- This actually happened a while back and I'd meant to report it then, but with all these computer hassles, it got shuffled to the wayside and I just rediscovered the link in my Bookmarks earlier.
- Lawyers Friday dropped an action to try and stop an auction of former pop star, Michael Jackson's, items. Up on the block? His gold album for Thriller, among other things.
- CW canceled cult hit, Veronica Mars, after many years of ratings struggles. Even CBS tried to give the series a push a few years back by showing it on their primetime schedule.
- Horror and the Supernatural figure heavily in the new shows, with basically every network launching at least one show featuring the paranormal or an undead character. There are vampiric police officers, CW has a half-hour "spooky" sit-com, and NBC has at least two paranormal-based shows on their schedule.
- If you aren't reading Daredevil, you're missing easily the best comic book on the market.
