B-Movie Con in Franklin, Indiana!

Franklin, Indiana will host the first annual B-rater Celebration August 17^th-19^th! Guests include, well several people, but Tom Savini! Yes, the Tom Savini - master SFX guru and sometime B-rater actor - of Night of the Living Dead fame, among many others. Also in attendance will be Troma mogul, Lloyd Kaufman, as well as a screening of Troma classics, including Toxic Avenger.

You can buy two tickets: the all-movie pass and the all-in pass. There will be movie-making panels and discussions and screenings of over 50 B-rater flicks. The list is on their website and I have to admit, I have seen all but a handful of them - or far too many of them, however you choose to look at it.

This looks pretty great and like loads of fun. You are certain to learn more about the business of making B-rater flicks, getting them produced and distributed, and a lot of the history behind them.
