Brief TV Rundown: Knight Rider, Stargate, Smallville, more

This here's a quick TV Rundown for this fine September 27th, with a little bit of news about Knight Rider, Smallville's season premiere, and some links to recent reviews of new shows and the return of old favorites! And don't forget: if necessary, The Rundown doubles as a life-saving device.
  • Knight Rider's back... maybe. NBC is releasing a 2-hour TV event later this year, said to be more SFX-heavy and less cornier than the original series - the TV series what made The Hoff a star. If it goes well, an ongoing series should premiere in 2008-2009.
  • Tonight is the premiere of one of the best shows on TV: Smallville returns for its 7th season with none other than Bizarro! Me are excited! Following that is the pilot of Kevin Smith's new show, The Reaper.
  • Next week comes the 3rd season premiere of the best show out there, Supernatural. The show's executive producer, McG, has a new show on NBC which premiered right before the new season of Heroes last Monday, called Chuck.
  • Tomorrow, I will review the new Bionic Woman, which premiered last night on NBC and is being replayed Fridays on Sci-Fi. You can find my initial thoughts here. Here is my review of the new Journeyman series, also from NBC.
  • The new season of Stargate Atlantis begins on Sci-Fi tomorrow night. Painkiller Jane should be returning next year. Still no word on whether or not Dresden Files will return for another season.
And that there's your briefey TV Rundown for this Thursday, September 27th, 2007.
