Weekend Productivity

Sorry I didn't get more to you this weekend. I did get several of the PRs that have been setting around out, but I had some other stuff I was hoping to get to (none of which is necessarily time-sensitive or anything), but this current project is taking longer than I expected.

Just so you know, because someone asked me elsewhere, I am not deleting sponsored posts; I am just removing the "Review my post" badges from old posts. Like I said, they've been up for months and have been posited as one of the main things Google looks for when deciding who they are going to shakedown. Only one person ever reviewed a post and I never received any money from it and don't know if he did either. I never saw the review and do not know what happened, so they certainly aren't doing anything for me, and while I don't know if they are lending to the whole PR thing, there's no point in leaving them up if they are.

Thing is, I don't remember exactly which posts they are on, but I know there are a ton of them, so I'm having to basically go back through all of them and edit them to remove the badges. In a productive hour, I get through about 30 of them, only because I go ahead and double-check the entire post for spelling, grammar, etc.

The cool thing is I am finding old posts that I knew I had made and wanted to cite in other posts, but couldn't remember where they were, what they were titled, and so forth. There are a lot of good posts on this here bloggy-blog - many of which I'd all but forgotten about! Not to brag or anything - nothing like that - I just mean there's a hell of a lot better content, and more of it, than on most blogs.

Google really sucks. I hate bullies.
