What is it with some of these celebrities? I mean, maybe it's because the local law enforcement where I live is so thoroughly and unquestionably corrupt, but I don't think my senses have been so warped by this. When it comes to certain celebrities, I truly believe they think they are just above the law.
OJ Simpson is back in custody tonight after his bail bondsman in Florida detained him. Some reports suggest he is already on his way back to Las Vegas, where he is set to stand trial for armed robbery and kidnapping. No reports indicate the nature of OJ Simpson's bail violation.
Simpson managed to post a $125,000 bond to remain free until trial, which is pretty odd, seeing as how he was found liable for the wrongful deaths of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman, but restitution has never been paid concerning this verdict. Recently, OJ Simpson penned a book he wanted to entitle, If I Had Done It, but the Goldman family won the rights to said book and renamed it Confessions on a Double-Murderer; it was finally released under a different title.
