One of the best discussions we've had here in a while - though limited to me and Ernie (and thanks, Ernie!) - has been about this 1985 event from Marvel. I haven't seen any of it and I take it from what Ernie has said that he hasn't either, but this press release may very well CHANGE THE MARVEL UNIVERSE FOREVER:
Marvel is pleased to announce that Mark Millar's newest epic tale, Marvel 1985 #1 (of 6), has sold out at Diamond and will go back to print with Marvel 1985 #1 (of 6) Second Printing Variant, featuring the art of superstar artist Tommy Lee Edwards on the cover. Villains have begun to appear in the real world and the only one who knows they are here is a young comic fan named Toby. Not all is lost however; Toby has enlisted the help of a familiar jade giant that he only dreamt of meeting in real life! Also, Millar begins to lay the foundation for his unprecedented Marvel epic, intertwining this story with his runs on Fantastic Four and Wolverine, as the past, present and future of the Marvel U are explored!
Matthew Brady of Comicsbulletin.com exclaims "Tommy Lee Edwards delivers some incredible visuals, full of down-to-earth locations and realistic-looking characters that contrast effectively with the more simple images of the comics Toby reads."
Timothy Callahan of Comicbookresources.com also mentions "1985… reminds us of our own lost childhoods. It celebrates these lost moments, these pieces that we've forgotten."
With buzz coming in from all over, it's no secret that this highly anticipated series will continue to fly off shelves. Marvel urges retailers to check their orders on Marvel 1985 as the second issue is on the horizon. Who knows what's in store for Toby and his "Incredible" new friend? Is there a line of defense ready for what the Marvel villains have in store for our world? Find out in Marvel 1985 #2 (of 6)!

A second printing, well I'm sure that will solve ALL the continuity problems in one fell swoop.
THE SECRET... is found in the alternate wrap-around tinfoil cover, but since they made them in 12 different colors, you'll have to buy them all to know which has it!
(HINT: None of them do - THE SECRET is only on the special, limited edition silver tinfoil wraparound, Comic-Con cover [#1b - SECOND PRINTING VARIANT EDITION; #1a is worthless]. Only 50 were printed! Within moments of the doors opening, the $3.99 cover-price comic was going for $1234049492849274070798648 on eBay.)
