Online Entertainment a Thing of the Now

I mentioned yesterday that Google signed Family Guy creator, Seth MacFarlane, to produce online content to be shown across their AdSense network (which you will not be seeing on The Weirding, as we have discontinued all use of AdSense and Google-based advertising), but there is more online entertainment news to bring you:

Sony Pictures Entertainment will release the Will Smith superhero flick, Hancock (in theaters now), online to owners/users of the Sony Bravia TV before the movie is released on DVD/PPV. This is a bold and earnest move by one of the foremost electronics firms in the world. Hancock has received mixed reviews from critics and fans alike.

We will have more on these developing models and online entertainment venues over to The Cyberculturalist.
