Comedian, Bernie Mac, has died at age 50 from complications due to pneumonia.
Mac was admitted to the hospital in Chicago last week and died early this morning, according to his publicist. Mac was known for his comedic roles in movies such as Bad Santa and Ocean's Eleven, as well as his long-running FOX sit-com, The Bernie Mac Show. He recently came under fire for remarks he made at a Barack Obama fund-raiser. Mac rose to prominence following his appearance in the stand-up comedy movie, Kings of Comedy.
His death was completely unexpected and comes as a great blow to friends, family, and fans. Our condolences to all.
