The first guitar Jimi Hendrix set ablaze onstage was auctioned off for a cool £280,000, which is equivalent to roughly $500,000 US.
The guitar was one lot in an east London sale that included such rare gems as the Beatles' first managerial contract, Elvis Presley's fingerprints, and the audio archive of rock producer, Joe Meek.
