Empty-V's Video Music Awards haven't been worth watching in almost 20 years... that is, until Britney Spears showed-up barred-out last year and nearly wiped-out the whole front row with her muffin top!
Britney Spears will not be performing this year, though she will be in attendance. She is nominated for three VMAs, including video of the year for her song, Piece of Me. Kanye West, who infamously vowed never to attend again after losing all five awards for which he had been nominated last year, has apparently changed his tune. Kanye West will attend, though I do not know/care if he will perform. Christina Aguillera will perform, as will Kid Rock, Pink, and others.
English comedian, Russell Brand, is this year's host.
