I am not sure why this is news, but since CNN is reporting it, I figured I might as well:
In the latest Action Comics, Clark Kent's (Superman's adopted) father, Jonathan Kent, dies. Again.
I don't keep up with DC comics because they suck, so I don't know how, when, or why Kent was ever brought back. I do know that he died in the original comics, he died in the movie, and he died on Smallville (because he died all the other times).
DC Comics famously celebrates their lack of continuity and their characters rarely change or develop. When they do, they are rebooted. So Jonathan Kent fans need but wait a few years for his return.
