Straczynski Likes Branagh for Thor

According to MTV's Splash Page, which spoke with current Thor writer, Michael J. Straczynski yesterday, he is all for Kenneth Branagh as director.

Branagh, a classically-trained Shakespearean actor, is not an action-flick director, but Thor is not your standard superhero. As the report points-out, a Shakespearean actor is uniquely suited to handle the God of Thunder. And Straczynski could not agree more.

While no official announcements have been made yet, Thor is reported to have a 2010 release date and Branagh is said to be in talks for the director's chair.
