Younger readers may wonder why The Rundown doesn't do more coverage of "hot" stuff like Twilight and manga. Simple: this is a blog aimed at older fans - the 25-30+ crowd - and few of us ever heard of Twilight until a week ago, most of us got sick of manga sometime around 1988, and... well, we're old.
At any rate, whenever I come across something I think will translate well between generations, I try to include it. And sometimes, I find something I know will only appeal to younger readers and even though we don't have many, I don't want to leave y'all out completely.
So it is with this manga excerpt from Yuichi Yokoyama's Travel, coming in December from Picturebox. Thanks to Vulture.
