A British Airways jet was forced to land nearly a 1/2-hour early to rush actress, Winona Ryder, to a West London hospital, where her stomach was pumped. Ryder is believed to have overdosed on Xanax, prescribed her to combat the actress' fear of flying. Passengers on the plane noted she collapsed twice on the 10-hour flight and "turned a deathly shade of pale."
Winona Ryder is an Oscar-nominated actress who has appeared in such cult classics as Heathers and Edward Scissorhands. A spokesperson said she is in good health, spent just over an hour at the hospital, then boarded a plane for another European location later that night.
