A copy of Action Comics #1 will go on auction for $1 at Comic Connect soon. While issues in Fine condition go for just over $125,000, there are only about 100 copies known to exist, so this one is expected to go for more. The original owner bought it for 35-cents in 1958 and held onto it for nearly 60 years. He is not being identified.
Action Comics #1 was the first appearance of Superman.
