Ain't It Cool News organized a little get-together for Star Trek fans in Austin, TX Monday night. Fans thought they were there to see a new print of the classic Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan until they were stunned by none other than original Spock, Leonard Nimoy, with the news that they were about to see the new JJ Abrams feature hours before it premiered in Sydney! Needless to say, the crowd went wild - and early reviews are overwhelmingly positive.Meanwhile, halfway across the globe, the new stars of the 11th Star Trek film walked the red carpet, signing autographs and answering fans' and journalists' questions on their way into the theater for the premiere. Star Trek chronicles the original crew's early years on the USS Enterprise. Star Trek premieres May 7th in Australian theaters, one day before hitting US cinemas.
