South Park Blamed for Vicious Attacks

A Canadian judge blamed South Park and its creators for inspiring a Facebook group called "Kick a Ginger Day." She believes the FB group inspired attacks on red-heads throughout Calgary on the day in question and that it was inspired, in turn, by a 2005 episode of South Park.

In one particularly brutal incident, at least 15 students were reprimanded for an assault on a red-head. While sentencing a pair from another school who were guilty of a similar attack on a red-headed boy in the locker room, Judge Lynn Cook-Stanhope called South Park:

[a] vulgar, socially irreverent program that contributes nothing to society

Thankfully, it appears none of the victims were seriously injured.
