While court documents clearly show that Frances Bean Cobain, daughter of Courtney Love and late Nirvana frontman, Kurt Cobain, is now under the guardianship of Cobain's mother and sister, they do not declare the reason. So far, no one knows exactly why 17-year old Frances Bean is no longer in Courtney Love's custody.
Love lost custody of her daughter in 2003 due to a drug overdose, but regained her in 2005.
