FX has renewed the animated Archer for a second season. The "first season," which was actually only seven episodes, performed well enough that the network has ordered 13 for the second season. Thirteen episodes comprise a full season, though networks have the option to pick-up "the back nine" episodes for an actual full-season of 22 episodes. This is increasingly less common for cable networks.
Archer airs Thursday nights. Full episodes are available on Hulu.
