If you watched last night's Oscars (which I didn't and a lot of people in NY prolly didn't, either), you might have noticed that Farrah Fawcett was left out of the memorial montage - the annual round-up of celebrities who passed away the year before - and many are wondering why.
While TV (and poster) work comprised much of her career, Fawcett certainly did appear in several movies -- she even garnered a Golden Globe nom for 1987's Extremities. Celebrities and critics including Star Jones, Roger Ebert, and Jane Fonda have expressed their dismay at the decision to exclude Fawcett from the memorial, but Oscar spokespersons are defending their decision, saying it is simply "impossible" to pay tribute to every star who passed away, especially since 2009 saw the death of so many.
What say you?

Spokespersons for the Oscars have defended their decision to "snub" the actress, saying Farrah Fawcett was better known as a TV actress and time limits simply did not allow for her inclusion in the memorial montage.
