OWN, the Oprah Winfrey Network, is the name of the new cable channel set to take the place of the Discovery Health Channel. OWN premieres January 1st, 2011. Oprah Winfrey, the channel's namesake, is set to produce and star in a new, late-night talk show sans audience. Other networks include a talent search for the next TV personality and a reality show featuring country superstar, Shania Twain.
Several new shows have been announced to join the roster of shows already named. OWN is set to appear in some 80 million homes across the U.S.
