Actress, Laurie Holden, who was last seen on The Shield and worked with director, Frank Darabont, on The Mist, has been signed to play Andrea in AMC's upcoming Walking Dead, based on the Image comic book by Robert Kirkman. Steven Yeun, a newcomer, has also been signed to the cast.
Adam Fierro has also joined the project as consulting producer. Fierro's past credits include 24, The Shield, and Dexter. Filming on Walking Dead begins this August, and the comic series reaches its 75th issue in July.
