DC Entertainment Chief Creative Officer, Geoff Johns, revealed test footage for a Blue Beetle TV series on his blog. The short clip will be played at the San Diego Comic-Con, and in as many DCU panels as possible, so they can judge a reaction to the footage. The scene being shown is a transformation sequence.
With Smallville set to end next season, Blue Beetle could be the next small-screen DC star.
