FCC Says America 'Anti-Family'

Six years after first imposed, and millions and millions of dollars later, an appeals court has stricken down a proposed FCC regulation making obscenity on TV punishable by insanely high fines. The appeals court said the proposed law was "unconstitutional," prompting an FCC spokesperson to call America "anti-family."

Of course, the FCC and "Justice" Department have filed an appeal. Austin Schlick (a more appropriate name could not be created), the FCC General Counsel, wrote that the current ruling raises "serious concerns about the commission's ability to protect children and families from indecent broadcast programming."

The case is expected to go back to the Supreme Court, which originally upheld the FCC's unconstitutional edicts.
