Paris Hilton is to be charged with felony drug possession following her weekend arrest in Las Vegas. A policeman following Hilton and her boyfriend noticed a trail of smoke coming from their vehicle which smelled like marijuana. During booking, Hilton is said to have pulled lip balm from her purse at which time, a baggy containing 0.8 grams of cocaine fell to the floor.
The pair were booked and bailed and released early Saturday morning. The felony possession charges are set to be filed later today.

Paris Hilton plead guilty to two misdemeanor charges under a plea deal with prosecutors. She was sentenced to a year of probation, fined $2000, and must serve 200 hours community service. Hilton must also complete a drug abuse program. If she violates her probation, or any of the terms of the agreement (including getting arrested again), she faces up to one year in prison.
Hilton admitted under oath that she had lied to the police officer and the purse belonged to her.
Prosecutors dropped the felony charge(s) against her.
