A copy of "Hungry Hobos" was found in one of Britain's largest collections of independent films, the Huntley Film Archives. The short features Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, thought to be the prototype to Mickey Mouse. The film will be auctioned on the 14th and is expected to fetch between $30,000 and $40,000.
The director said that only about half of the collection has been catalogued, and the find was rare and lucky. Proceeds are going to be used to further fund the Huntley Film Archives.
