Eddie Van Halen teamed with Mr Holland's Opus Foundation to donate 75 guitars to Los Angeles schools. Although some critics suggested this may have been more PR work for the upcoming Van Halen reunion, a statement released by Eddie Van Halen said, "Music has provided a good life for me and hopefully it can help make life better for others with this donation."
