48-year-old Don Payne, best known for his work as a writer and producer on The Simpsons, died from bone cancer last Tuesday at his home in LA. Payne also wrote the screenplay for Thor, My Super Ex-Girlfriend, and Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer. He won four Emmys for his work on The Simpsons. He also won an award from the WGA for his work.
