These days especially, few titles make it to their 300^th issue.  While Spawn remains popular, and even has a film adaptation in the works, most titles have been "rebooted" numerous times over the years.  Sometimes (though not always), if they are successful, their original numbering replaces their "reboot" numbering, making it difficult for collectors to figure out which comics belong in what order!
