Well kids, it’s Friday and I ain’t got shit to do. Ain’t got no job. So I’m gonna get me drunk. But I wanted to drop a lil old-fashioned Rundown on you before I do:
- Marvel unveiled their new postage stamps. The first-class stamps come in sheets of 20, half of which depict such Marvel icons as Hulk, Spidey, and Elektra; the other half bear reproductions of famous comics covers.
- A video game based on the super-popular superhero show, Heroes, is in the works.
- As of issue #26, DC’s Countdown changes its name to Countdown to Final Crisis. Now I’m intrigued.
- Jenna Jameson (yes, that Jenna Jameson) is creating and writing her own comic book to be released by - wait for it! - Virgin Comics entitled Shadow Hunter. Nice name, Jenna - mind my toes, girly.
- The Spaceballs animated show we first told you about a loooong time ago premieres on G4 in a month or two. There’s no way it can be worse than the movie... he prayed.
- Warner Brothers is going to do a film adaptation of DC Comics’ Jonah Hex.
- Supernatural is the best thing on TV. I said it.
- Daredevil is the best thing on newsstands.
- Here’s hoping Thor only gets better.
- Don't forget G4's Comic-Con coverage tonight at 6:00 CST and the all-day Hex marathon tomorrow on BBCA.
