Now I know Image has been around for over a decade now, but old-hands like myself can't help but still think of it as "The Little Upstart What Did." I mean, it wasn't just another independent press or imprint; Image was developed specifically to widen the mainstream market into The Big Three (along with Marvel and their Direct Competition) - and it has done exactly that! Image now has a ton of great titles, most of which are creator-owned, and is racking-up awards and award-winning creators. This is an official Image Comics press release:24SEVEN DESIGNED FOR NOMINATION!
