I'm still messing around. I got to the 5th issue of the Supernatural: Origins mini-series and wrote a whole diatribe about how very bad - very, very damned bad - the artwork is (it's bad, y'all - bad), then lost my train of thought halfway through and didn't feel like going back to finish the rest. Besides, I want to come away with something more for the mini-series than just how shitty the art was and while I had the writing up to that point, the ending of the 5th issue was really stretching it and I figured I'd better quit while I was ahead.
I really do hate to trash. I was thinking about this earlier either today or yesterday, when I was going to make a post about how quiet them Bad Grrrlz had been lately and figured I might as well leave well-enough alone; I kept defending them and saying how I hoped they'd get their shit together, then the minute they're out of the spotlight, I'm fiending for news on them. So gauche; such a hypocrite.
Evel Knievel died and I am going to write about him, but I just don't feel much like it yet. I'm actually trying to do the math in my head as to how old he must have been when I first became infatuated with him - which had to have been years after he "retired," since I was born after he did his last stunt... I quickly fell out of love with The Knievel, given that he didn't do anything since then. I think his son tried his hand at a stunt or two for a second, also without much success.
Anyway...
