Personnel to be Reprimanded for Peeking at Britney's File

Workers at the UCLA medical center, where Britney Spears was taken following a standoff with police in her home in January, will be fired or reprimanded for looking at her personal file when she was admitted, according to a new LA Times report.

This is the second time such violations at the hospital have come to light in the past two years - both times involving one Ms. Britney Spears; several workers were fired for accessing her files in 2005, following the birth of son, Sean Preston.

The hospital's head of human resources, Jeri Simpson, said the hospital treats celebrities "all the time and you never hear about [it]... I don't know what it is about this particular person - I don't know what it is about her."

Really, Ms. Simpson? Now, I'm gonna go out on a limb here, but do you think it may have something to do with the throng of paparazzi outside that magically appear whenever the princess o' pop arrives? I'm just theorizing on a hypothesis, but do you think that, just maybe, someone might pay a little bit to find out more about her personal information and - and I'm just putting this out there - maybe some of your staff isn't paid quite as well as you are, so they figure they just might want a little of that fiscal action?
