Technical Notes - Watch for Churn!

Yes, there have been a lot of technical notes lately, but I told you it would be like this. There are going to be a lot more throughout the month.

First of all, the Chill pages will be up later tonight or tomorrow - just a few tweaks to get to - but they will be rough. Like I said, I added a whole new thing to the site to handle this, and other, RPG-related projects, and I am still setting that up. So, the Chill bit won't really look like much... in fact, I may just hang-back until I finish the whole thing, because there's nothing you can really do with what's ready to go without what I am working on now. Who knows? I'll figure it out when I get there.

Right now, I have to get back to the tags and older posts, which means feed subscribers should watch for churn (old posts at the top of the feed). Again, I apologize, but it's just part of maintaining a blog.

The last - and most important - thing is that The Rundown is moving to its own domain. In fact, once I am finished with the Chill project, The Rundown is not only moving to a new domain, it is getting a whole new look. That will happen this week - probably starting around Wednesday or Thursday and stretching throughout next weekend.

It will take some time for all the changes to finalize and work their way across the Web, but visitors coming to the BlogSpot URL (the very one on which you are reading this now [yes, dur, but I had to say it]) will be redirected to the new one - regardless of when the entry was posted (before or after the move). However, you need to update your bookmarks, just in case. I don't think the feed will change or anything like that, but it's best to be safe; besides, who knows what changes will be made after that and you don't want to be left behind.

I was up until like 8:00 this morning thanks to the time-change, so I may be up late or I may not. I don't know if I'll get anything else new out tonight.

Spanks!
