Help Gene Colan

Gene Colan has been suffering from liver disease for some time now. I was unaware of this until it was covered in this week's CBGXpress, as I assume many other fans are as well.

Colan began working in comics in the 1940s, but most of us probably recognize his name from the 1970's comics he did, such as Tomb of Dracula, Daredevil, and more. While Colan has remained affable and downplays his illness, his wife is more honest, telling Clifford Meth that the effects are quite serious and Colan is currently on heavy medication. Meth has been covering this story on his blog very closely and I ask you to follow the link to check it out.

Numerous artists are donating items to the upcoming ComicLink auction to help Colan and his family with their rising medical costs. Make sure to check out Meth's blog for more information and please contribute, if you are able.
